The Art League of Baytown (ALB) celebrates it's seventy-first year and it's sixth season as a FotoFest Participating Space in 2026. The theme for this season's competition is A Sense of Place. We are pleased to announce that noted Houston gallery owner Catherine Couturier is the juror for the competition. Ms. Couturier will select up to 50 thematic photographs for display at the ALB gallery from March 12 through May 16, 2026.
Awards given:
1st place: $350
2nd place: $250
3rd place: $150
3 HM at $50 each
Awards will be chosen once the printed photographs arrive at the gallery and winners will be notified.
Submission is open to both professional and amateur photographers working in all forms of photography. However, you must be 18 to enter. There is no time limit on image date. Submit your best images fitting within the theme regardless of when the image was taken. The entry fee is $40 for up to five (5) images. However, you can enter as many as 10. Each entry after the first five is $6. Entry fees are non refundable.
The Art League of Baytown was organized in 1954 and incorporated as a Texas not-for-profit corporation in 1963. Our continuing mission is to promote the fine arts and create fellowship among practicing artists.
Submissions are due November 9.
