Catherine Couturier Gallery is excited to share an opportunity for collectors and photography enthusiasts alike to see more of George Zimbel’s iconic photographs of Marilyn Monroe.
On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm (ET), Andrew Zimbel will present The Night George Shot Marilyn Monroe, a unique online event open to the public. The presentation will include the full collection of images from the four rolls of film George Zimbel shot during Marilyn Monroe’s Seven Year Itch shoot in New York City. This is only the second time these images, including rare outtakes, have been shown publicly. The presentation also features the short film The Night I Shot Marilyn Monroe, produced by Matt Zimbel. This event offers an intimate exploration of George’s artistry, the spontaneity of this historic photo session, and Marilyn’s iconic presence.
