Upcoming Exhibition: Gary Watson's STILL IN MOTION at the Women’s Institute of Houston

Mark your calendars for the opening reception of STILL IN MOTION, an upcoming solo exhibition by gallery friend Gary Watson at the Women’s Institute of Houston, August 9, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

Inspired by and using the analog methods of the humanist street photographers of the 1930s and 1940s, this exhibition celebrates the grace, joy, athleticism, and exuberance of human activity frozen by the trip of a shutter, forever holding time STILL IN MOTION. The exhibition features 26 gelatin silver black-and-white photographic prints.

The Women's Institute of Houston (WIH) serves men and women seeking learning experiences through classes, lectures, online courses, a beautiful public lending library, and exhibitions of fine art by talented local artists.
